1. Who we are

BRUC.AI ("we", "our", "us") is a video generation platform for e-commerce merchants. Our service is accessible at bruc.ai and app.bruc.ai.

2. Data we collect

When you connect your Shopify store, we request read-only access to the following data through the Shopify OAuth flow:

Products — titles, descriptions, images, and variants, used to generate video scripts and visuals.
Orders — aggregated order history, used to understand product demand patterns.
Customers — anonymized demographic signals, used to improve store-level creative guidance.

We also collect your Shopify store domain and the email address associated with your account for authentication and billing purposes.

3. How we use your data

To generate UGC videos for the products you select.
To create and improve Store Voice & Creative Profile guidance for your store.
To manage your account, credits, and subscription.
To send transactional emails (billing receipts, video completion notifications).

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your product or customer data to train AI models beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

4. Data retention

We retain your store data for as long as your account is active. Generated videos are stored for 90 days after creation. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@bruc.ai.

5. Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate BRUC.AI:

Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure.
Vercel — application hosting.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@bruc.ai.

You can disconnect your Shopify store at any time from the Settings page inside the app, which revokes our access to your store data.

7. Cookies

We use session cookies strictly to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice.
